DS Rewind

DSRewind was a head-to-head contest site where all contests were based upon player performances from the previous day in north-american sports. Members could participate in contests using real money.

role

Here I worked mainly on back-end features with some front-end integration. I built a real-time game server and notification system communicating asynchronously with the connected browsers. I integrated a sports data feed to get the statistics. Questions were generated automatically based on a custom-built templating system. I also implemented real money payments, SMS verification and geo blocking among others.
